Hans Peterson

Hans Peterson (26 October 1922 – 16 August 2022) was a Swedish children's writer.[1] He was born in Väring, Sweden.

During his career, he was honored with the Svenska Dagbladet Literature Prize (1955), Nils Holgersson Plaque (1958), Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis (1959) and Astrid Lindgren Prize (1971).

Peterson committed suicide on 16 August 2022 in Mölle, Sweden at the age of 99.[2]
