Hayden Rorke

William Henry Rorke (October 23, 1910 – August 19, 1987) was an American actor. He was born in Brooklyn, New York. He was best known for playing Colonel Dr. Alfred E. Bellows on the 1960s American sitcom I Dream of Jeannie.

Rorke died on August 19, 1987 at his home in Toluca Lake, California of multiple myeloma at the age of 76.[1]

In a 2011 memoir by Jeannie co-star Barbara Eden revealed that Rorke was "unashamed to be gay" and that they were close friends.[2]
