Heart of Darkness

Heart of Darkness is a book of fiction by Joseph Conrad. It is about a European sailor who travels to a Belgian colony in Africa. The story focuses on imperialism and colonialism. Conrad published it in a magazine in 1899, and as a book in 1902.

The movie Apocalypse Now is based on this book.
