Horizon Zero Dawn is a 2017 action role-playing game that was developed by Guerrilla Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The game was released for PlayStation 4 in 2017 and Windows and macOS in 2020. As the first game of the Horizon video game series, the game follows Aloy, a young hunter in a world invaded by machines, who sets out to return peace to the world.

In January 2025, a film adaptation was announced as a collaboration between Columbia Pictures and PlayStation Productions.[1]
