Hsu Pang-hsing (Chinese: 徐傍興; pinyin: Xú Bàngxīng, January 29, 1909 - August 3, 1984) was a Hakka doctor from Pingtung, Taiwan.

Hsu was born in Zhongxinlun, Neipu (內埔, a town of Pingtung) in 1909.[1][2] He studied at Neiho Elementary School (內埔公學校), Takao Middle School (高雄中學校) and Taihok Medical College (台北醫學專門學校).[1] In 1931, he married Chiu Jen-mei.[1] They had six children[3]

After the end of World War II in 1945, Hsu began to serve as the first surgery director of National Taiwan University Hospital, but he resigned in 1950. After that, he set up Hsu Surgery Hospital (徐外科醫院) in 1950 and created Private Meiho Senior high school (美和高中) in 1961.[1][4]

In 1971, he set up the Meiho Youth baseball team,[5] six-time world champion.[1][4] In 1984, Hsu died at the age of 76.[6]
