Illinois 12th congressional district is a congressional district in the state of Illinois. The district is in parts of Madison county, and all of Alexander, Franklin, Jackson, Jefferson, Monroe, Perry, Pulaski, Randolph, St. Clair, Union and Williamson counties.[4] The people who live in the district elect a person to work for the district in the United States House of Representatives. The district is currently represented by Republican Mike Bost.
