Ironheart (character)
Ironheart (Riri Williams) is a fictional superhero character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created in 2016 by writers Brian Michael Bendis, and artist Mike Deodato, and later redesigned by Eve Ewing and Kevin Libranda.
Fictional character biography
[change | change source]She is a super-genius who created her own armor from one of Tony Stark's designs, and later become an armored superheroine to continue Tony's legacy after the events of the second civil war. Riri would become her own hero by designing her own armors, fighting against threats, and later joining the Champions.

[change | change source]Dominique Thorne will portray Williams in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022) and will appear in the Disney+ series Ironheart (2025).
