The JAC Yueyue is a City car made by JAC Motors from 2010 to 2019.
History and Features
[change | change source]The JAC Yueyue was first launched in The Chinese Market in 2010.[1] the car had a 1.0 liter petrol engine with a 5-speed manual transmission and a 4-speed automatic transmission it was improved in 2012.[2] in Brazil it was debuted at the Sao Paulo Auto Show as the J2 it had a 1.4 liter naturally aspired petrol engine with a 5-speed manual transmission it later received a flex-fuel version.[3]
The car had a mini Crossover version called JAC Yueyue Cross this version was launched after the facelift in 2012.[4] the Refine S2 mini a mini SUV was developed from the Yueyue and replaced the Yueyue Cross shown in late 2016 and was put on sale in China in 2017.[5] it was sold in Latin America as the JAC S1.[6]
A electric version called JAC iEV6E was debuted at the Beijing Auto Show in 2016 and the production version was shown at the Shanghai Auto Show in 2017 it has a electric motor with 80 hp and a range of 152 km.[7] [8] it was improved in 2018.[9] the improvement brought updates for the battery and range.
Markets
[change | change source]The JAC Yueyue was sold mainly in the Chinese market but it was also sold in Latin America as the JAC J2 and in Luque in Paraguay it was made locally through kits CKD.[10]
Discontinuation
[change | change source]The production of The JAC Yueyue ended in 2019 and was discontinued without a sucessor but the JAC iEVA6 is still made and sold until today.
