Jimmy Hayes (ice hockey)

James Ryan Hayes (November 21, 1989 – August 23, 2021) was an American professional ice hockey right winger. He played in the National Hockey League from 2011 until 2018. He played for the Chicago Blackhawks, Florida Panthers, Boston Bruins and New Jersey Devils. Hayes was born in Boston, Massachusetts.

Hayes died on August 23, 2021 in Milton, Massachusetts. He was 31 years old.[1] A toxicology report said that Hayes died from a mix of fentanyl and cocaine use.[2]
