Dame Joan Ann Plowright, Baroness Olivier DBE (28 October 1929 – 17 October 2025) was an English actress. Her career spanned over sixty years. She won two Golden Globe Awards and a Tony Award and was nominated for an Academy Award, an Emmy and two BAFTA Awards.[1][2] She was married to the actor Laurence Olivier from 1961 until his death in 1989.
