The John Ball Zoo is on the west side of the city of Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States. The zoo is on the hills along the west side of the park.
The zoo has more than 2,000 animals of over 200 different species.
The zoo is a part of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. It was the first zoo in Michigan to be a part of the association.
