John Gage (Aug. 12, 1802 - Dec. 29, 1890) was a business and landowner from the state of Illinois. He would live in multiple cities and towns, most notably Chicago and Wilmette, Illinois. The census-designated place of Gages Lake, Illinois in Warren Township is named after him.
