Kabul ambulance bombing

The Kabul ambulance bombing happened on 27 January 2018 near Sidarat Square in Kabul, Afghanistan. At least 103 people were killed and 235 others wounded in the suicide attack.^[1]^[2] The Taliban were behind the attack.^[3]

A bomb was hidden in an ambulance and exploded at a second police checkpoint, according to officials.^[4] Its blast also destroyed vehicles, shops, and buildings nearby.^[5]
