Kochi Tuskers Kerala

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kochi Tuskers Kerala was a franchise cricket team that had played in the Indian Premier League (IPL) as representing the city of Kochi, Kerala, India. The team was one of the two new franchises added to the IPL in IPL 2011 for that one year, alongside the IPL team Pune Warriors India from Pune, Maharashtra. The two teams were abolished by BCCI in 2011 and 2014 respectively because the two teams did not pay the franchise interest to BCCI. The team franchise was owned by Kochi Cricket Pvt Ltd., which was a consortium of multiple companies.
