LDV Maxus was a van and minibus made by LDV Limited from 2004 to 2009. From 2011 to the present day it has been made by SAIC Motor under different names.

[change | change source]From 2004 to 2009, LDV Limited made a van and minibus called the LDV Maxus,[5][6] The Maxus replaced the LDV Convoy and the LDV Pilot.[6]

Maxus V80
[change | change source]In 2010, LDV Limited was purchased by SAIC Motor.[7][8]
From June 2011 to the present day, SAIC Motor make a van and minibus called the Maxus V80,[9] It is nearly the same as the LDV Maxus.[9][10]
In Australia it is called the LDV V80[11]
In China it is called the Maxus V80[12]
In Russia it is called the Maxus LD100
In Malaysia it is called the Weststar LDV Maxus[13]
In Thailand it is called the MG V80[14]
In Turkey it is called the Fargo Fora[15] and the TEMSA Maxus[16][17]

Maxus FCV80
[change | change source]From 2017 to the present day, SAIC Motor make a plug-in hybrid fuel cell model called the FCV80.[18][19] It was launched in 2017 at the Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition.[18][19]
The V80 is marketed as the MG V80 in Thailand since March 2019.[20] The Thai-spec V80 is powered by a 2.5-litre diesel-turbo sourced from VM Motori. Outputs are rated at 136 hp and 330Nm. There are two transmission types to choose from: six-speed manual; or single-clutch automatic (automated manual).
Xintu V80
[change | change source]From 2023 to the present day, SAIC Motor make a van and minibus called Xintu V80 (新途 V80),[21] It has new a front and rear lights, a new front and rear bumper and a new interior.[21]
