Lazar Matveev

Lazar Lazarevich Matveev (Russian: Ла́зарь Лазаре́вич Матве́ев; born 17 April 1927) is a Russian intelligence leader and former Soviet intelligence leader. He was a senior KGB liaison officer during 1982 to 1989. He was the boss of Vladimir Putin when Putin worked for the KGB.[1][2] Matveev was born in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Soviet Union.
