Lois Ruth Maxwell (born Lois Ruth Hooker, 14 February 1927 – 29 September 2007)[1] was a Canadian actress. She was best known for her role of Miss Moneypenny in the first 14 James Bond movies (1962–1985). She was the first actress to play the part.
