Mart Nutt

Mart Nutt (21 March 1962 – 2 June 2019) was an Estonian politician and historian. He served as a member of the Riigikogu, the parliament of Estonia, since the country's independence in 1991. From 1991 to 1992, he was head of department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He became a member of the United Nations Human Rights Council in 2007. From 1988 to 1991, Nutt was a research director of the Estonian Open Air Museum. He was the curator of the Estonian Academy of Arts.

Nutt died on 2 June 2019, at the age of 57.[1]
