Martin Raymond Keown (born 24 July 1966[3]) is a retired English football player. He played as a defender from 1984 to 2005. He is most known for playing in the Premier League for Arsenal. He made more than 400 appearances for the club and won 10 honours.

Keown lives in and around Oxford with his wife Nicole.[8] Keown's son, Niall is also a footballer.[9]
