Mason Gaffney

Merrill Mason Gaffney (October 18, 1923 – July 16, 2020) was an American economist. He was a major critic of Neoclassical economics from a Georgist point of view.[1] After serving in the southwest Pacific during World War II.[2] Gaffney was Professor of Economics at the University of California, Riverside beginning in 1976.[3] He was born in New York.

Gaffney died on July 16, 2020 in Riverside, California at the age of 96.[4]
