add a global contributions link to the bottom of anon contributions page
[change source]I think it could be very helpful to have a global contributions link at the bottom of the contributions page for an IP, similar to the link we have at the bottom of a Users page. We often get vandals who either have already vandalized other wiki's or will do so soon after we block them. I usually end up checking using the global tool already but it would be much easier if a link was available to do it :). I've believe you only need to add:
Global contributions and blocks (you can actually probably drop everything before the [http: but this keeps the same standard throughout.
for ease sake I copied the whole code with the addition below so that if you want to do it with my change you can just replace the whole text with whats below:
And this is what it looks like with that code:
This is the discussion page for a person who has not created an account yet, or who does not use it.
We have to use the numerical IP address to identify him/her. An IP address can be shared by many people. If you feel that things said here are not about you, you can create an account or log in to stop it happening again.

Typo
[change source]editprotected
At the end of this message, I believe "to stop it happening again" is a typo. It should be "to stop it from happening again". Art LaPella (talk) 21:44, 17 May 2011 (UTC)
- done, although my English is not good enough to see what the difference is... sonia♫ 09:19, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
- You're right; a Google Books search shows only a 2–1 preference for "stop it from happening again", though I would have expected more like 100–1. Art LaPella (talk) 17:00, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
Suggestion
[change source]Should we switch this to the English Wikipedia's format? They have a template function to display different options for IPv6 addresses and IPv4. --Bsadowski1 16:38, 15 September 2014 (UTC)
