Ludmya "Mia" Love (née Bourdeau; born December 6, 1975) is an American politician. She was the U.S. Representative for Utah's 4th congressional district from 2015 to 2019.
Love was the first black female Republican elected to Congress[1][2] and the first black American elected to Congress from Utah.[3]
In February 2022, Love was diagnosed with brain cancer, which was described as terminal. She had surgery, which removed 95% of the tumor and she began having an immunotherapy clinical trial.[4]
