Moctar Ouane (born October 11, 1955) is a Malian diplomat and politician. He was the Acting Prime Minister of Mali from September 27, 2020 until being removed in a coup on May 25, 2021. He became prime minister following the deposition of the government of President Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta.[1] He was Minister of Foreign Affairs from May 2004 to April 2011.
On August 27, 2021, Moctar Ouane was released from house arrest.[2]
