Mozzarella sticks

Mozzarella sticks are pieces of battered or breaded mozzarella. It is a deep fried food. In the United States, it is often served in restaurants as an appetizer and as food served in pubs. It is shaped like a stick.

Mozzarella sticks are often served with tomato[1] or marinara sauce. They may also be served with plum sauce, jalapeño jelly, barbecue sauce, honey mustard sauce, and ranch dressing. Other types of cheese may be fried, such as provolone, cheddar, and American.
