NBF Art Prize is a cultural initiative by the National Bank of Fujairah, aimed at promoting and supporting artistic talent in the United Arab Emirates. Launched in 2021, the program serves as a platform for artists to showcase their work, engage with the community, and participate in various art-related activities, including exhibitions, workshops, and competitions.

History and Vision

NBF Art was established in 2021 as part of the National Bank of Fujairah’s efforts to foster cultural and artistic expression in the UAE. The initiative seeks to celebrate the country’s artistic heritage while nurturing emerging and established talent across diverse artistic mediums. Its vision aligns with NBF’s broader commitment to community development and cultural enrichment.

• 2022: It All Starts with Me! – Encouraging individual actions to combat climate change.

• 2023: Time is Now! – Advocating sustainability and urgent action for global environmental challenges.

• 2024: The theme Many Paths, One Destination garnered the highest participation yet, with over 800 entries from artists working across various mediums.

Competition Structure

Finalists are celebrated through public exhibitions, with winners receiving cash prizes and mentorship opportunities.  

Highlights

The 2024 edition of NBF Art set a record with over a 1000 entries, underscoring its rising popularity. The winner for 2024 is yet to be announced. This year’s finalists’ artworks will be displayed at a prominent venue, offering a platform for public engagement with the themes and the artists’ creativity.
