The National League North is a league in the 6th tier of English football. It shares the 6th tier with the National League South. Teams from this league can be promoted to the English National League.
Tamworth were the champions in the 2023–24 season, and Boston United won the play-offs.
History
[change | change source]The division was created in 2004, as a lower division of the Football Conference. Back then it was called the Conference North. The Conference South was also created at the same time, and it was the other league at the 6th tier.
In 2021, the league expanded from 22 teams to 24 teams.
