Natsume Sōseki
Natsume Sōseki (夏目 漱石, 9 February 1867 – 9 December 1916), born Natsume Kin'nosuke (夏目 金之助), was a Japanese novelist. He is well known around the world for some of the novels he wrote, like Kokoro, Botchan and I Am a Cat. He was born in Tokyo, Japan. Natsume Soseki graduated from the University of Tokyo, and he was to become a school teacher. Also he was a master of Ryūnosuke Akutagawa.
In Japan, many people think he was the greatest writer in recent Japanese history.[1]
