[change | change source]

The Nissan S-Cargo was debuted on the Tokyo Motor Show in 1989[1] its design was inspired by the Citroen 2CV Fourgonette van the name is a double entendre the name means "Small Cargo" but it sounds like "Escargot" which is a french word that means Snail and the word is a nickname for the Citroen 2CV the van has a 1.5 liter engine and a 3-speed automatic transmission it was one of Nissan`s "pike cars" alongside the Nissan Figaro the Nissan Be-1 and the Nissan Pao it has features like A oval-shaped portal window that is inclueded in each sides of the van.

The Nissan S-cargo was sold exclusively in Japan but it was imported to other countries outside Japan.
