Noel Lloyd

Noel Lloyd CBE FLSW (December 1946 – 7 June 2019) was a Welsh academic. He started his academic career at the University of Cambridge. He moved to Aberystwyth University in 1974 and became Professor of Mathematics. He served as vice-chancellor of Aberystwyth University from 2004 to 2011. After his retirement, he was elected to the Learned Society of Wales.[1]

Lloyd died on 7 June 2019, at the age of 72.[2]
