Pacific Northwest Bell
The Pacific Northwest Bell Telephone Company is an American telephone service provider. It operates in the U.S. States of Washington, Oregon and Northern Idaho. As of New Year’s Day 1991 the Pacific Northwest Bell name is no longer used for marketing though the company still exists. It does business as CenturyLink Communications (also called as LUMEN).[1]
Seven years after the Bell System breakup, the Pacific Northwest Bell name went dormant. It was revived in the early 2010s by CenturyLink.
