The People's Museum in Malacca City, Malacca, Malaysia, records and preserves Malacca's achievements in development. It was officially opened on 15 April 1992 by Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad.[1][2][3] The museum is on the ground floor of the former Historical City of Malacca Municipal Council building, built in the 1960s on the ruins of a Dutch building.
