Peter Friedman (born April 24, 1949) is an American actor. He is known for his role as Frank Vernon in the HBO drama series Succession (2018–2023) for which he won a Screen Actors Guild Award.[1] He earned a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical nomination for his role as Tateh in Ragtime (1998).

Friedman was married to Joan Allen from 1990 until they divorced in 2002.[2]
