Phil Lombardi

Phillip Arden Lombardi (February 20, 1963 – May 20, 2021) was an American baseball player. He was born in Abilene, Texas. He played three seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1986 to 1989. He played for the New York Yankees and New York Mets. His main position was catcher but he also played at left field.

Lombardi was married and had three daughters. After retiring from baseball, he worked as a real estate agent. He died of problems caused by brain cancer on May 20, 2021, in Stevenson Ranch, California. He was 58.[1]
