Pik Pobeda (or Peak Pobeda) is a 7,439 metres (24,406 ft) mountain in the Tian Shan range, in Xinjiang and Kyrgyzstan.[1][2] It is also known as Jengish Chokusu.[3] Pik Pobeda is the highest mountain in Kyrgyzstan and the 60th highest mountain in the world. It should not be confused with a different mountain with the same name in Russia. The first people to reach the top were Vitali Abalakov and his team, in 1956.[2]
