Rijsoord is a village in the province of South Holland, the Netherlands.
It belongs to the municipality of Ridderkerk and was a municipality until 1855.[1]
Rijsoord has 3,005 people living there in 2022.[2]
During World War II, the Dutch army surrendered to Nazi Germany in Rijsoord on May 15, 1940.[3]
