Ropczyce is a town in Subcarpathian Voivodeship in southeastern Poland. It is in the valley of the Wielopolka River (a tributary of the Wisłoka River). It is the capital of Ropczyce-Sędziszów County. About 15,000 people live there. Its area is about 47 km².
