Rupert Kentish

Rupert James Kentish (26 June 1914 – 20 December 1978[1]) was an Australian politician. He was a member of the National Party and later the Country Liberal Party. He served as a member of the Northern Territory Legislative Council from 1968 to 1974. He then served in the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly from 1974 to 1977 for Arnhem.[2]
Kentish was born in the Gums, Queensland. He was married to Maluda, an indigenous woman. He died in 1978 or 1979.
