Samuel Daniel Shafiishuna "Sam" Nujoma (/nˈjmə/; 12 May 1929 – 8 February 2025) was a Namibian politician. He was the first President of Namibia from 1990 to 2005.[1]

On 8 February 2025, Nujoma died at a hospital in Windhoek at the age of 95.[2][3][4]
