San Francisco Ballet

The San Francisco Ballet (SFB) is a ballet company. It was founded in 1933[1] as part of the San Francisco Opera Ballet. The company is based in the War Memorial Opera House in San Francisco, California[2] under the direction of Helgi Tomasson who has been directing it since 1985.[1] SFB is the first professional ballet company in the United States.[3]
