Shilkande Kolis

The Shilkande, or Shelkande and Shilkunda is a clan of Koli caste found in the Indian state of the Maharashtra and neighbouring Territories.[1] The Shilkunda Kolis revolted against Peshwa (Prime minister of Maratha Empire) because of their land rights and cutoff the head of Patil of Chovisi.[2]
