Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is an American computer-animated superhero movie, based on the Spider-Man character, an superhero created by writer-editor Stan Lee. The movie was produced by Columbia Pictures, Sony Pictures Animation, Marvel Entertainment, Arad Productions, Lord Miller Productions and Pascal Pictures, It stars Shameik Moore, Jake Johnson, Hailee Steinfeld, Mahershala Ali, Brian Tyree Henry, Lily Tomlin, Luna Lauren Velez, John Mulaney, Kimiko Glenn, Nicolas Cage, and Liev Schreiber. It was released on December 14, 2018, and received widespread critical acclaim for its animation, story, characters, voice acting, music, visual style, action sequences, humor and themes.
Plot
[change | change source]Bitten by a radioactive spider in the subway, Brooklyn teenager Miles Morales suddenly develops mysterious powers that transform him into the one and only Spider-Man. When he meets Peter Parker, he soon realizes that there are many others who share his special, high-flying talents. Miles must now use his newfound skills to battle the evil Kingpin, a hulking madman who can open portals to other universes and pull different versions of Spider-Man into our world.
Sequels
