Steppenwolf (comics)

Steppenwolf is a fictional supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created by Jack Kirby and made his first appearance in New Gods #7 (February 1972). Steppenwolf (which is German for "wolf of the steppe", or coyote) is one of the New Gods, the uncle of the archvillain Darkseid.

Fictional character biography

Steppenwolf is an immortal with superhuman strength, speed and stamina appropriate to his race. He is an experienced military leader. His main weapon is his electro-axe.

The character made his first movie appearance in Justice League and its director's cut Zack Snyder's Justice League, portrayed by Irish actor Ciarán Hinds.[1]
