Steppenwolf (comics)

Steppenwolf is a fictional supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created by Jack Kirby and made his first appearance in New Gods #7 (February 1972). Steppenwolf (which is German for "wolf of the steppe", or coyote) is one of the New Gods, the uncle of the archvillain Darkseid.
Fictional character biography
[change | change source]Steppenwolf is an immortal with superhuman strength, speed and stamina appropriate to his race. He is an experienced military leader. His main weapon is his electro-axe.

[change | change source]The character made his first movie appearance in Justice League and its director's cut Zack Snyder's Justice League, portrayed by Irish actor Ciarán Hinds.[1]
