Steve Olusegun Ogidan was born on 7th September 1961. He is a Nigerian strategy expert and development planner, with an experience in agriculture rural development, microfinance and human resources development, managing director and chief executive officer Successory Nigeria Limited and Chairman Global Knowledge Group.[1][2][3][4][5]

Steve Olusegun Ogidan was born on 7th September, 1961 in Ikare - Akoko local government area of Ondo State, Nigeria. From 1985 to 1988, he studied English language at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He got a Bachelor's degree. Then he went to Bayero University, Kano State. He got a Master's degree in English Language. Then he went to Trinity College Spain. He studied Business Development and Entrepreneurship.

Ogidan holds diploma and certificate in Rural Finance and Banking, proficiency certificate in computer, certificate in Integrated Bank management, post graduate certificate in vocational and entrepreneurial education. He is an Alumnus of Harvard Business School , Wharton Business school of the University of pennysylvania and the Columbia Business School, Builder institute of microfinance, Turin, Italy , and school of African Microfinance, Mombasa Kenya .[6][7][8]

Steve Olusegun Ogidan started his career in Bank of Agriculture (BOA) in Nigeria . He is an accredited trainer by centre for management development (CDM) Nigeria , international labour organisation, ITC/ILO, Turin, [[Italy]. Training consultant to PropCorn (promoting pro - poor opportunities in commodity and service market) and the international fertiliser development corporation IFDC. He was three terms team leader FGN/IFAD - Rufin - Supervision missions for Nigeria between 2010 to 2013. Consultant UNDP and Central Bank of Nigeria on microfinance development strategy. He was management strategy consultant and trainer Nigerian Railway Corporation, Strategy consultant to the Central Bank Of Liberia on financial inclusion, 2011 to 2012. He was appointed as a Local Service Support for the German Donor Agency . He was the BDS/Grant specialist on the World Bank MSME Rice value chain projects Kaduna State coordinator World Bank state - level private sector policy and institutional - mapping (SPPIM) project. Team leader that carried out rapid market assessment and research for the establishment of micocred Nigeria 2009 to 2013. He was a DFI national consultant on developing lending policies and loan recovery strategies for microfinance Bank in Kaduna State under growth and employment. Regional consultant African Development Bank (AFDB) microfinance, Consultant to the Nigeria Incentive - Based Risk Sharing system for Agricultural Lending. Consultant to the food and agricultural organisation of the United nations in Angola and Mozambique. He led the team that designed and launched the Togo incentives based risk system for agricultural lending (MIFA - TIRSAL) in 2018, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Successory Nigeria Limited and Chairman Global Knowledge Group. Management assistance of microfinance Banks and Businesses across Nigeria , Ghana , Liberia , Gambia , South Africa and Morocco . He is a fellow of the Microfinance Association of the United Kingdom, He is a member of the prestigious National Institute (mni) in Nigeria, Honourary member of the chartered institute of Banker of Nigeria .[9][10][11][12][13][14]
