Why was 'Film' changed to 'Movie' in this article? Is it an official policy? ARBAY on Simple English MY TALKies 19:47, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, we discussed this over on WP:ST. Film is used on the English Wikipedia because it is what historians use, the art of film, etc.; our target audience, of ESL learners and sixth graders (to use Creol's words), doesn't need that.
