Issues with the page

I think one issue has caused a number of problems. That is, the editor has actually tried to explain the ideas in the book. This is almost bound to be a fail, since the author has taken a whole book to do just that. Also, we do have pages on many of these topics, and some of those pages work quite well. Therefore, the page should step back from explaining the content, and think more about the book as a book. It is one of a whole series on the same subject written by astronomers over the past century. Also, as a book, it has its place in the general field of "books explaining science".
