[change source]The original had two or three major problems. It violated the WP is not a how-to-do-it principle. It was (and still to some extent is) written in language which was too complex. Also, it was verbose and repetitive. Macdonald-ross (talk) 16:50, 12 August 2014 (UTC)

- I edited the phrase about radical behaviorism to this: Applied behavior analysis is based on the scientific approach known as radical behaviorism, which says that people engage in behavior for reasons that can be understood by studying what happens before and after someone engages in the behavior and not by studying the person's thoughts and feelings.[1] Instead, radical behaviorism says that thoughts and feelings are a type of behavior called private events. Private events are things that happen in a person's mind or body that other people can't see. Because private events are a type of behavior, they can also be understood by studying what happens before and after the private event happens.
- The description of private events might still be a bit complicated though. Editor6681067 (talk) 05:16, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
