- We'd need a redirect, though: From 'unmanned aerial vehicle' you can piece together what the thing might be. From drone, this is more difficult. And yes, in minliary slang these things have been called drones for at least 30-40 years, likely longer. Only problem: the male of some social insects (bees) is also called drone... - I think Drone (vehicle) is a better title. Trying to understand such a long title, can be a lot of work. "Drone" is much more commonly used among non-experts. Lights and freedom (talk) 04:15, 16 January 2023 (UTC)
