Talk:Monopoly (game)
I'm working on a class project to help this article out and here are some of my sorcues:

- Wu, Dane W. Baveth, Nick. “How Often does a Monopoly player go to Jail?” Sept 2001 774-778
- Merriam-webster dictionary (what is monopoly)

- Francesco Crocco “Critical Gaming Pedagogy—Radical Teacher Fall 2011
- Monopoly—Britannica Academic Ed.
- Oxoby, Robert j. “A Monopoly Classroom Experiment” Journal of Economic Education. Spring 2001. 32.2. p. 160-168

I'm assuming you haven't had a chance to edit this yet Wake0421. A section of game rules would be helpful like the actual detailed pamplet, so if people lost them from their original game, they could look them up here. Also, a list of the different kinds of monopoly games listed by the decades would be interesting. I hope you have found helpful resources to add to this page.

I like the idea mentioned above about listing the main rules, like how much money people start with (how many of each denomination), because that is something I always forget every time we try to start a game and I end up looking it up. I haven't looked at what images are available on the wikimedia page for monopoly, but I found some good ones for my article there.Dolyn27 (talk) 07:47, 14 November 2011 (UTC)
Thanks guys. Sorry I did not have anything up, my internet was down. I am still looking for a list of the different editions, not having must luck right now. Let me know if you guys think of something else Wake0421 (talk) 18:49, 14 November 2011 (UTC)
Suggestions for improvement from Awadewit
[change source]- Remember that you need to cite sources for all of the information you add.
- As of now, you have added a lot of information on the rules of the game. What other kinds of information can you find? For example, what kinds of information on strategies and odds have you found? I know that there is a lot out there on those topics.
- The "lead" or beginning section of the article should summarize the article as a whole.
I think you need to read more of the sources you have listed above - that will help you expand the article. Awadewit (talk) 01:21, 27 November 2011 (UTC)
