Neue Deutsche Härte (new German Hardness) band, not German Heavy Metal.

Rammstein is a Neue Deutsche Härte (new German Hardness) band, which, as explained by Wikipedia, "... describes a crossover style that is influenced by Neue Deutsche Welle, alternative metal and groove metal..."

I do wonder where "German Heavy Metal" came from. Did it come from trying to simplify the page, or just an error? Angerxiety (talk) 01:42, 27 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Also, it is more than just European industrial metal (which is not an article). NDH is a mix of NDW, Industrial metal and other with features of electro-industrial and techno. Angerxiety (talk ⋅ contribs) 14:17, 6 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

"Rammstein" album technically not named "Rammstein"

This album is actually untitled. Spotify and maybe other music platforms name it as "Rammstein" but it does not have a name. I will change all mentions to "Untitled Rammstein album". Angerxiety ^{the ediot} (chat? ⋅ contribs ~~to society~~) 17:37, 11 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

What's up with the genres?

So why exactly are alternative metal, progressive metal and heavy metal on the genres list? Neue Deutsche Härte and industrial metal on their own summarize the band's sound well enough, plus no source is given for any of the genres inclusion. Carnivore82 (talk) 03:37, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I didn't want to risk removing the genres myself due to the warning in the infobox. I'm not sure if it's referring to those genres specifically, but again, I didn't want to take any chances. Carnivore82 (talk) 16:44, 9 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I believe the warning is referring to the NDH genre, not the others. That warning was most likely copied over from the English Wikipedia, there would be no actual warning in simplewiki for doing so. – Ang erxi ety^! 16:45, 9 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
