Tamika Catchings

Tamika Devonne Catchings (born July 21, 1979) is an American retired basketball player. She played for the Indiana Fever in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) for 15 years. She has won four Olympic gold medals for women's basketball. She won them in 2004, 2008, 2012, and 2016. She won a WNBA Championship with the Fever in 2012, and was the WNBA Most Valuable Player in 2011.[1] She was put in the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 2021.

Catchings played basketball at the University of Tennessee from 1997 to 2001.[2] She won the Naismith College Player of the Year award at Tennessee. She joined the Indiana Fever in 2001.[3] In 2016, she stopped playing basketball in the WNBA.
